I sit during most of my meditation, however sometimes I like to close my eyes in bed while laying down and meditate. I tend to fall in and out of sleep while doing so.
I have been having a strange but incredible experience, where I'm so relaxed, and I'll wake up with my eyes still closed and find that I am just pure consciousness. No outside world, no thoughts just pure awareness.
It feels like I've been there 1000 times before and it's extraordinarily comforting and exciting.
So exciting in fact that I get a rush of butterflies and fully wake up. I don't think I've even spent more than 2 full seconds in this state, but it is by far the most incredible thing I've ever experienced.
This has happened on three separate occasions over the course of the last 2 weeks.
PLEASE, if anyone has experienced this while meditating, how can I increase my likelihood of attaining this state more?
Does anyone have a good technique to get them there?
Thanks for reading. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
